Styling and design

The new Hero Xpulse BS-6 has the same appearance as the BS-4 model. The bike manufacturer has made minor adjustments, such as rerouting the exhaust system and adding a larger metal bash plate. The front windshield is non-adjustable, allowing the rider to comfortably maintain highway speeds. Light obligations are dealt with by a Drove headlamp. Although the light has a good intensity, it could have had a better throw.

The plastic nature of the front curved guard is very sturdy, and its plan further upgrades the intense look of the bike. The new BS-6 Xpulse 200 uses dual-purpose CEAT tires on both ends, just like the BS-4 model. They don't have the same level of ride quality as road-biased tires, but they do have good grip on bumpy roads and a good balance on and off the road. In addition, the motorcycle receives a larger metal bash plate than the older BS-4 model, which better safeguards the powertrain while off-roading.

Engine & Performance

The main changes to the new Legend Xpulse 200 BS-6 have been made to the powertrain, as it has now been refreshed according to the new BS-6 emanation standards. The familiar 199.6 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that powers the new Hero Xpulse 200 generates 17.8 bhp of peak power and 16.45 nm of torque. Using a 5-speed gearbox, power is delivered to the rear wheels.

Contrasted with the more established BS-4 model, the new BS-6 Xpulse 200 feels more refined. Legend MotoCorp has added another exhaust system, to assist the bicycle with contaminating significantly less. The motorcycle has strong midrange and initial power, but its top end could have been better. The BS-4 model delivered slightly more peaky power, which is another result of a motorcycle that is better for the environment.

Ride & Handling

The Xpulse 200 was designed by Ride & Handling Hero to be a single bike that could do multiple things. The Hero Xpulse 200 BS-6 is not only one of the most comfortable bikes for city riding, but it is also light enough for beginners to ride any off-road trail on. The advantages of owning an ADV motorcycle are only enhanced by the fact that the road conditions in India are as strenuous as those on an off-road rally stage.

It has a comfortable riding position that will make your road riding experience effortless and stress-free, and it can be adjusted to accommodate all of your body movement while off-roading. It also has a wide handlebar, so riding it won't put too much strain on your shoulders and elbows. The ride level of the bike is really available, which even a normal level individual can ride easily. My colleague, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, was able to take full advantage of the bike despite my height of 5 feet 9 inches.

Verdict

The updated Hero Xpulse 200 BS-6 costs INR 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in terms of its price. This meant an INR 5,000 premium over its BS-4 partner. However, considering all of Hero's modifications to the bike, the additional cost appears to be well-justified. The bike now has a smoother throttle response and a more refined feel. While this is a shelter for use in the city, it likewise can be valuable to keep up with consistent choke during rough terrain undertakings. The bike's construction is quite sturdy and strong enough to withstand the toughest terrain. The Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 is a good motorcycle for novice off-road bike enthusiasts due to features like good ground clearance, capable chassis dynamics, and lightweight construction.
